X-ray Light Curves

For my first research project, I was a freshman at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor working with Dr. Mark Reynolds. I spent a lot of time learning how to interact with a Linux machine, how to code in Python, how to use Jupyter Notebooks, and how to use Xspec to model X-ray light curves. We concluded that our analysis agrees with Yao et al., stating that the transient source is most likely a stellar-mass black hole.
